Owned and operated by locals Anthony, Vicki and David (friends since high school who clearly never grew out of loving a good challenge), Escape HQ was born from a shared obsession with escape rooms and the art of puzzle-solving. Our story kicked off when the three of us reconnected years later and thought, “You know what? Let's do it.” Our goal was to create the best escape games in Auckland, exceeding even the highest expectations. So we grabbed Escape HQ Takapuna. Then, because we’re clearly gluttons for punishment (and fun), we expanded into the city by acquiring Great Escape in Auckland CBD. Today, both locations operate under the Escape HQ name, delivering fun, challenging, and seriously immersive escape room adventures for groups of all ages.
