Our rooms meet New Zealand’s health and safety regulations so although we ‘lock’ you in the room, as required by law, you are able to exit the room at any time if you choose to. There is an emergency exit button beside each locked door that when pushed releases the door instantly allowing you to exit.

Booking is really simple. Go to our bookings page and follow these simple steps –
1. Choose your group size. We allow from 2 – 6 players. Less than 2 means you want to play alone. It’s hard but you can if you really want (but you need to pay for 2 players). More than 6 players is possible too – just book 2 or more rooms and spread your team across those rooms. You will start at the same time and play against each other.
2. Choose your room theme. There is a description on the booking site and more information in our FAQs here on another page but all games are great to play.
3. Choose your preferred date and time. By clicking on all the games you get more choice of dates and times. The chances are you will find a free slot on one of the rooms so check them all one by one!
4. Choose the game and pay. You should have no problems paying by credit card using our online system. If you do encounter problems please contact us on 07 262 3035 or email@example.com.

Our games are all designed for 2 – 6 players. We have two game rooms so we can accommodate up to 12 players at a time.
We are happy to accommodate you as a solo player but remember it will be hard work! It is also a lot of extra work for our game masters so we need to still charge our minimum rate of 2 players.
So how many people should play? We have tested all sorts of numbers but the ideal is a group of 2 – 6 players. For this reason we are quite strict about these team sizes now as we want to ensure each and every Escape HQ Hamilton experience is thoroughly rewarding.
This is a LIVE adventure concept so unfortunately if you arrive late, you may NOT be able to play for a full hour. It is really important to try to arrive on time for the benefit of your fellow adventurers too. As we may have games booked after yours, the game may have to start without you or your game time will be reduced. We highly recommend to arrive 10 minutes before the start of your game!

In the Udder Graziness Game, the pressure is really on. The rain is on its way and there is a lot to do, so you and your team need to work fast!
Oh no – you’ve overslept! When you finally get up, you start to feel the clouds rolling in. It dawns on you that the boss is away for the morning. He will expect a lot of jobs done around the farm while he is gone… and the clock is ticking!
With a sense of panic, you start your day. He wanted you to do something about the hay, perhaps? Did he also mention some broken fences?
It immediately comes to mind that the milking machines are not working. As a result, you’ll need to find another way to get the job done. Seems like it’s going to be “one of those days…”
To be victorious in the Udder Graziness Game, your team must work together to solve a multitude of crazy clues and puzzles. Don’t dally though, because time is against you. Better get a moooove on!
Dark Side of the Room
In the Dark Side of the Room Game, the year is 1978. It is a time of big cars, big parties, and more importantly – big concerts. You are a roadie for a rock band, so you have an important part to play. Your effort is vital in helping them get ready for the show.
With just 60 minutes left before tonight’s performance, you are searching for the band. You are freaking out because there is still a lot of setting up to be done.
With a little help from the staff, you have just gained access to the band’s hotel room. Upon looking around, you see the room is a mess but more importantly, there is no sign of the band.
Time’s running out because the concert is about to start. Can you solve the mystery of the Dark Side of the Room Game, and give the raving fans what they came for? It’s up to you to make sure the show goes ahead in an hour.

We are located in Hamilton city at 37B Harwood Street – right on the corner of Harwood and Liverpool Streets. There’s plenty of metered parking near our Main Entrance on Liverpool Street.
Escape HQ Hamilton games are unique adventures based on the classic “escape the room” online games now popular in many countries around the world.
We offer a true “experience” where your challenge is to solve unique and historic mysteries. As a team you play against the clock in one of our rooms to solve the mystery and thereby find your escape. The whole experience lasts for 90 minutes including the briefing, the game itself is 60 minutes.
We currently have two game rooms available, each of which is suitable for groups of 2 to 6 players at a time. We also have a chill out lounge where you can enjoy a drink and a snack before or after your game. Hey – we’ll even take a photo of your team and post it online so you can all share and enjoy the memories!
Escape HQ Hamilton is aimed at anyone with a sense of fun who likes puzzles. We have intentionally designed the adventures to appeal to different age groups, genders and backgrounds. All of our themes at Escape HQ Hamilton are suitable for all ages and are family friendly, There are no adult themes, gore or frights.
Prices are $30 per child, $34 per student, $38 per adult for teams of 5 or more players and $42 per adult for teams of under 5 players. Game prices are per person and for adults they depend on the number of players. To book, simply go to our booking page and select your group size, choice of game room, date and time and then pay using our secure system with credit card. It’s as easy as that!
Our outdoor game is played around the streets of central Hamilton and the pricing is $20 per child, $22 per student and $25 per adult.
